We help you serve Vraja. Srila Sacinandana Swami founded BrajCare to serve the holy land and its people.

Vrindavan, glorified in the scriptures, has become home to thousands of sadhus — holy people who have given their whole lives to serving God. It makes you long to serve this holy land and its people, even in some small way.
Programs
Four kinds
of service
Almost all our programs are long-term commitments — they need ongoing support.
Feeding stray cows
Every day our rickshaw, loaded with sacks of chopped grass, makes its way from Govinda-kunda to Surabhi-kunda. The cows wait for us, and as soon as they spot the rickshaw they come running, lowing happily. We now give out 400 kg of grass a day and would like to give more.
A school for children
There are very few free schools in Vraja that offer a good education, and many families in Radha-kunda are too poor to send their children to a fee-paying school. So we opened Sri Rupa Seva School: we teach Hindi and English, reading, writing and arithmetic, and how to play the mridanga, and we provide uniforms and textbooks.
Caring for sadhus
Many saints have taken a vow never to leave the banks of Radha-kunda. They live in small kutirs for which they must pay rent. We repair the kutirs, arrange medical care, and help each month with rent and electricity bills.
Cleaning Giriraj
Rather than looking for someone to blame, we clean up ourselves. On almost every retreat we head out with our Vaishnava guests to the foot of Giriraj. In an hour, one person can fill a large sack with litter; a group of fifty fills fifty.

Help that is truly needed
We work with people who have lived in Vraja for many years and understand what is really needed.
Hands-on involvement
We don’t take on projects where all that’s needed is to raise money and hand it over. We oversee every step ourselves and bring in volunteers.
Designated donations only
Administrative and marketing costs are never paid out of donations made for specific projects.
More than charity
Serving holy people is the greatest good fortune. We keep this in mind in all that we do.
